I wanted to like this, but it was just too easy to figure out the bad guy. I knew from the second book. Actually had suspicions in the first. I love a good action mystery, but this one was just way too obvious. Next, I found d Lis to be selfish, not sympathetic. When you have cancer, if you choose to go through treatments, it's usually for the people that love you. Her giving up and running away was both selfish and cowardly. Not wanting to face the people who loved her. So overall, I didn't care much for this character. Lastly was the Stone and Cassie thing... just ewe. If they had the attraction, they would have felt it from the beginning and with the way she threw herself at him, he couldn't have been too busy to ignore her. After all, he had no problem hitting on Foxy. Cassie was beyond unstable and psychotic, in every story. Surely, the author could have given Stone a better mate. Check, I don't think the author liked Cassie before trying to squish them together anyway. If two people are passionate about each other, they know it from the first meeting and touch. Now sure, you can get to know someone and get that slow burn or comfortable love, but that's not what these books are. They are about the passion. So, this book had a lot to not like about it. I guess it's worth reading if you want to continue the series, but there are no surprises here.

I went into this book with high expectations, and as usual, they were exceeded. The level of skill in which Black uses to execute her work, is highly commendable. The book was intriguing and complex; several sub-plots that coincided with the main story, adding layers to an already riveting tale. The characters were fascinating, yet familiar. As a reader, you become invested in these characters, and find yourself anticipating what will happen to them next, while feeling like you are in the book with them while it happens. Your emotions mingle with the ones bleeding off the pages of this story, and you don’t just read the words - you feel them. Detailed description allows you to clearly visualize the scenes as they unfold. The story grabs you from the first page, and stays with you long after the last one is turned.

I received a ARC of this book to read and to give my honest opinion in a review. OMG! WOW! Bears, Loins, Hawks, Wolves and Vampries!! Oh my! I have enjoyed all of C.E. Black books I have read but Shifted Obsessions is SPECTACULAR and has that something special. This is a highly emotional and magnificent read from C.E. Black! The storyline is fascinating and has lots of suspense. The flow of words a great and the pace of the story is just right. Ms Black is truly gifted and so very talented and creative. The storyline is Magnificent, well written and full of surprises. I enjoyed the storyline so much I couldn't put my tablet down. But from the first page to the last I was memorized. The characters are engaging, fabulous and fantastic. The dialogue is passionate, realistic, and you will love the interaction between the main characters, the chemistry is scorching hot and they leap off the page with life that's so real.

The story is about Elizabeth Mattews (Liz )who has a deadly illness and you may need a box of Kleenex because the story actually made me tear up. I was so sorry that Liz a kind, feisty and beautiful woman had such a deadly disease. Liz works for Wolford corporations she is the CEO's assistant. But Liz really has no ideal who her boss really is. And Gregory ( Bear) who is of course , gorgeous, sexy, charismatic and a bear shifter. Bear is in love and very possessiveness toward Liz but every one knows but her.

The story is an excellent addition to the series and a great choice for your TBR list. I love reading this funny, sexy, suspenseful book. I highly recommend this book and I'm so excited I can hardly wait to read book4!

If you love shifters and the world of paranormal romance the possibilities are endless and always fascinating.
Looking forward to the next one.

You must read this book; it is amazing. It was hard to put down the farther I got into it? I recommend this to anyone who likes books with shifters. Waiting anxiously for the next one.
